Advanced Authentication is a software security and authentication enhancement solution. Its primary role is the facilitation of secure and irrefutable authentication through the use of its Strong and Risk Authentication modules.
Strong Authentication is a module that facilitates step up (a.k.a. multi-factor) authentication. Its purpose is to determine the identity of a user attempting to access a protected resource through the use of two interlapping identification principles:
1. Something you know (ex. password or any other input that is derived from knowledge).
2. Something you have (ex. hardware or software OATH compliant tokens – mechanism that generates a onetime pad for example every 30s).
Risk Authentication is a software security and authentication enhancement solution.
Its primary role is the facilitation of passive risk analysis of every authentication attempt. This is accomplished through the use of a series of fine-grained tools through which a user’s identity is irrefutably established. These tools are based on baselining a user’s behavior (determining his usual IP address (geographical location), device and operating system, usual time-frames of access and many others.
